The Walton County Commissioners signed a Proclamation for National Educator's Day, November 6, 2022.

All smiles! One benefit to attending meetings is all the catching up you get to do with colleagues you haven't seen in a while!

Dr. Jimmy Stokes spoke on legislation and its impact on educators, active and retired. 

Our final meeting was packed full of useful information on membership, benefits, and legislation.

President Sean Callahan received the Unit of Distinction Award for our chapter at this year's Retired Educator's Association Conference held in Augusta last May.

One of our primary and yearly projects is to award a sholarship to a student attending each of the four Walton County High Schools: Monroe Area; Walnut Grove; Loganville; & Social Circle. Presentations were made at the high school awards ceremonies in the spring.
